The walk-in installation "Schattenpfade" consists of a large-format paper cut-out by Verena Freyschmidt and a multi-channel sound composition by Lasse-Marc Riek. The cut-out traces abstract forms and structures that emphasise contrasts in their interplay with light. The composition of natural and artificial sounds, emanating from several locations in the room, complements the cut-out, creating a seductive atmosphere of sound, light and shadow.
